New Macs

My friend Terry just bought a 20” iMac – and loves it. He dumps all videos which need to be rendered on it, and instead of taking 2 days to render 2 green screen layers and an image layer in Final Cut Pro, it now takes 50 minutes (!). ZA Store is selling the 17 inch for R10, 271 – and that’s not a bad price at all. Sean is thinking of buying one this weekend (ABOUT TIME!) and just heard Jonathan has a Mac Mini.

    Hay, my name is Jonathan, and I have a Mac Mini, but I doubt I’m the Jonathan with the Mac Mini you are reffering to.

    Hehe – according to our mutual friend Carl, you indeed are the Jonathan I’m referring to. He let that little fact slip during a Skype conversation yesterday. And I’m glad you love your Mac Mini!

    That’s interesting…
    I have had it since December, and never regretted it.
    I would get another if I had a bit of extra money (a new mini that is, the newer ones are supposed to be 4 times faster than the one I have). I would need a lot of extra money for anything else.

    I am not saying Apple computers are expensive, I actually disagree with that.
