Open letter to AllYouCanEat.co.za support aka Father Christmas

Dear Allyoucaneat support

Can I have a kitten, and a bicycle, and a puppy, and some chocolate, and a new haircut for Christmas? And while you’re at it, could you please check why my mostly unused 2 GB topup from September October didn’t carry over to October November on the account enterprisesa?

My mommy says that you’re not real, and that not only do you not live at the North Pole and don’t deliver presents once a year, you also don’t answer support emails. I would like to think she’s wrong, so I’m going to send this email once a day until I hear from you, because, unlike her, I believe in the impossible.

Send count: 2.

Regards
Roger

Well, the letter-bombs I’ve been sending them have all been returned unopened. Their phone rings and rings. They don’t answer emails. Even ironic ones. I may have to resort to sarcasm…

I’m beginning to suspect they’re a virtual company run by Martians – who’ll never answer the phone or emails, but do the stuff somehow. Maybe we’ll never know.

I am trying to cancel my allyoucaneat account as well. Have been a subscriber with them since 2004, but I had enough now. Can anybody provide me with some additional contact numbers, because the numbers that I have is all just ringing. I’ve had an local webafrica account for ages, but kept my international with allyoucaneat. Webafrica managed to get me online (international) before allyoucaneat managed to answer their phones.

I am tempted to think allyoucaneat is closing their doors. Comments?

Good luck in cancelling your account, Skouperd! I don’t have any other contact details for them, besides what their website says. Let us know if you manage to come right…

authentication services have stopped for over two days now at allyoucaneat. For all intents and purposes they are no longer, have ceased to exist and shuffled off this mortal coil:)

Same here. No Internets for me and absolutely no contact from them ever! I just checked my account for Nov, and there was no debit from my account. Does anyone know if they have gone under? Does anyone live in CT and able to do a steak out of there premises? Its the only way left to contact them.

I reside in Cape Town, I’ll see if I can make bypass to their office tonight, just to see if they still exist. Anybody have a physical address for me perhaps? (I can not access their website at all)

[...] I posted an open letter to them recently and quite a few people commented, saying they’re unable to get hold of them. 2 people say their ADSL username and passwords are not working! [...]

Yes, it’s unofficially official: All You Can Eat have closed their doors. SAOL.com will honour all contracts with them, though…
